Kevin Milliken graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1977. Kevin’s law practice focuses on professional license defense; personal injury; products liability; long-term disability insurance claims; and shareholder, partnership, business and real estate disputes, including presuit evaluations, negotiations, and litigation through trial. Kevin has successfully defended physicians, chiropractors, psychologists, veterinarians, social workers, licensed professional counselors, real estate brokers, pharmacists, podiatrists, physical therapists, dentists and other professionals before the Department of Safety and Professional Services. He also represents attorneys in Office of Lawyer Regulation investigations and proceedings. Kevin practices in state and federal courts. He has lectured for the Wisconsin Association for Justice on product liability matters and for the State Bar of Wisconsin health law section regarding peer review and the physician disciplinary process.
Kevin has been active in community boards and coached children of all ages in youth hockey and soccer during the past 30 years. Outside his law practice, Kevin endeavors to improve and enjoy our environmental resources. He builds and paddles cedar strip wood canoes, kayaks Midwestern waterways, hikes and bicycles the rural countryside, and can be found fishing and restoring Wisconsin trout stream habitat on many weekends throughout the year.
